PSPRS updated its public safety and corrections Model Uniform Rules to incorporate House Bill 2381's statutory changes and feedback from stakeholders. These rules have been adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The new law requires that local boards establish and adopt updated rules for adjudicating claims and disputes. At a minimum, boards must incorporate the Model Uniform Rules adopted by the Board of Trustees.
