H 2080 Retirement; CORP; Service Credit
Allows active members of CORP, who had previous service in this state with an employer now covered by the Plan, an agency of the United States Government, a state of the United States or a political subdivision of a state as a full-time paid corrections officer or certified peace officer, to purchase their prior service.

H 2109 Retirement; Corrections Officer
Increases the minimum employer contribution rate for CORP to 4% from 2%. If the aggregate employer contribution falls below 4%, the employee rate (currently 8.5%) shall be permanently reduced by an amount equal to the difference between 4% and the aggregate employer rate, but never less than 7.65%.

S 1343 State Investment; Terrorist Ties
The state treasurer and the retirement system fund manager must report annually to the Legislature on the economic impact of global security risks of investments under their management, including a list of companies in their portfolios known or suspected of doing business in terrorist-sponsoring countries, the total amount invested in each company and an assessment of the level of global security risk based on the “prudent investor rule.”

If the state Administration Dept self-insures, it must include all mandated health coverage benefits as well as provide for grievance procedures for issues such as: treatment denials, creditable coverage determinations, dissatisfaction with care, and access to care.
