The following is a list of questions to help you determine why a spreadsheet from this website might not work on your computer. If you answer "no" to any of the questions, you must fix the problem before the spreadsheet will work correctly. Information and fixes to the questions
|
1. All spreadsheets on this PSPRS website have been created, modified and saved with Microsoft Excel 2003. You must have a version of Mircosoft Excel installed in order to use a PSPRS spreadsheet.
Note: There are some features with Excel 2003 that might not work with older versions of Excel. |
2. Because all the PSPRS spreasheets are created in windows with Microsoft Excel, they are not gauranteed to open or work properly on an Apple computer. |
3. Most spreadsheets on this PSPRS website have macros that need to be enabled in order for the spreadsheet to function correctly. Excel has 4 macro security settings. The spreadsheets will not work on a "Very High" or "High" setting. The preferred setting is Medium. This makes Excel allow you to choose to enable or disabled macros. Macros have to be enabled to function properly. For information on how to change your macro security setting, you can visit the Microsoft Website. |
4. If you are trying to use the "Reverse DROP Estimate" spreadsheet, there are 3 add-ins that need to be installed: "Analysis ToolPak", "Analysis ToolPak - VBA", and "Conditional Sum Wizard". The spreadsheet will try to install these add-ins automatically, but if it fails, you will need to install them manually.
