Fake screenshot can be ignored
ARIZONA – Public safety employees can disregard a circulating screenshot of what appears to be a post on the PSPRS website that proclaims that the City of Phoenix will cancel pending contribution refunds related to the Hall-Parker lawsuits.
City officials have confirmed to PSPRS that the city plans to issue its refunds to eligible Tier 1 public safety employees sometime this month. Additionally, PSPRS has never posted any information regarding any refund cancellations or even delays.
The refunding of employee contributions deemed unconstitutional by Arizona courts is mandatory and cannot be disregarded by employers of members of EORP and PSPRS.
