A Message to New Tier 3 PSPRS Members
Welcome to the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS). As a new employee with a PSPRS participating employer, you must choose between two retirement plans. You will be choosing either a defined benefit plan or a defined contribution plan. Your decision is based on which plan is right for you.
Your Deadline to choose a plan is 90-days from the date you were covered under PSPRS.
To assist your decision making, PSPRS offers several resources.
Your first step would be visiting our new member page. There you will find information to help gain a better understanding of the differences between the defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

PSPRS has also contracted with Public Safety Financial/Galloway to provide member benefit education at no cost to you. PSPRS does not endorse any fee-based asset management services.
Once you are ready to select your plan, you will be making that election through your Members Only account. Registration of a new account will be required. You can do so by clicking “Register” on the upper right hand side of the webpage.
